RetrieverCard gift cards can replace paper gift certificates- they look, feel, and act just like a major credit card. Each card has a unique account number and every time the cardholder makes a purchase, the visit is tracked and the amount spent deducted from the total balance. The first is “Gift Cards” – This is a stored value program. The customer pays you and you load the value onto the card using your terminal. The funds stay in your account, until the cardholder makes a purchase, at which time the amount of the sale is deducted from the card. The remaining balance is printed on the receipt. Cards can be reloaded at any time.
The second way to use the RetrieverCard program is “Loyalty Cards” – This is a point-based program that allows you to reward your loyal customers. Customers accumulate points based on rules set by you….such as a point for every cup of coffee, a point per pound of cheese, or something like that. These points can be redeemed by the Customer for actual rewards that you have created.
These programs are designed to increase your customer traffic and encourage customers to spend more money.
